Smart Eco Living has been established to provide the customer with a Full Turn-Key Design and Build package with offsite manufacture - assembled onsite.
This includes all planning, building regulations, demolition of existing buildings, general site clearance, ground-works, house build, internal fit-out and landscaping (if required).
After researching the marketplace we found it confusing as to what was quoted, what was included and what was not. We looked at the European market and eventually established manufacturing partnerships. Based on building modular timber frame structures which are factory constructed and then site assembled, Smart Eco Living provides a full turn-key solution.
The team consists of our own in-house passive designer, an established in-house team of installers for the timber frame buildings and includes a full house NHBC sign off, again by our in-house certifier.
Standards are always high, whether it be customer service, attention to detail or project managing the build to the customers exacting standards, Smart Eco Living is your ideal partner.
Building your home is a partnership between satisfying your requirements to build the house of your dreams and a manufacturer that can satisfy them.
Our building expertise gained over the last 10 years of modular building, combined with our manufacturing capabilities, give us a competitive edge.
Our State of the Art factory, is used to produce the shell of the house that has been chosen. This preferred build route uses FSC certified timber in a controlled environment assuring the best quality available.
Every project has a dedicated project manager who is responsible to deliver the best customer service possible. We put communication at the heart of our customer service policy. We employ our own electricians, plumbers, designer and technical experts who are all available to support your dream of moving into your new eco home.
Quality is viewed as a process rather than an end goal. Our aim is to ensure work is completed ‘right first time, every time’ to the required quality standards. Quality Inspections of all aspects of our projects are a key component of our policy and procedures.
Our construction methods are designed to suit you. We design to create a cost to run value which works for you for the next 20 years whilst still being able to produce a house within your budgets at build stage.
Insulation values are calculated in line with your budget but air tightness and thermal bridging are all part of the design mix.
Our wall systems are a mix of load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. Design software produces the optimum construction design, reducing machine set-up times and warehousing costs.
Our highly insulated buildings give excellent u-values, excellent air tightness ratings and we also employ sustainable features in our projects including water harvesting; solar panels and renewable energy systems such as air source or ground source heat pumps.
